Version 1 · 31 October 2026 · how what you pay for on Hospita is delivered

Hospita sells services, not goods. Nothing is shipped; this page says how and when each service you pay for is delivered.

In short. A visit or a test is confirmed on screen the moment the payment goes through, with a booking number. The hospital gives the consultation at the time booked, in person or by video; the lab does the test at the lab or at your home. Prescriptions and reports reach you in your Hospita record. A hospital's plan opens as soon as it is paid.

1. Who delivers what

Hospita is operated by the company that operates Hospita, address not yet published. Hospita runs the booking, the payments and the records. The hospital or clinic gives the consultation and the lab does the test; each answers for its own service, as the Patient terms say.

2. A visit with a doctor

  • Booked and paid in the hospital's chat, on its website, on the Hospita patient page or in the Hospita app.
  • Confirmed at once on screen with a booking number, and by email, SMS or WhatsApp where the hospital uses them, with a PDF of the confirmation.
  • Given by the hospital at the day and time booked, at the hospital, or by video from 15 minutes before the time booked.
  • The prescription reaches you in My visits and in the Hospita app as soon as the doctor finishes the visit; in a video visit you see it as it is written.

3. A test at a lab

  • Confirmed at once on screen with a booking number.
  • The sample is taken at the lab on the day booked, or at your home where the lab offers home collection; any collection fee is shown before you pay.
  • The report reaches you in your Hospita record once the lab sends it, within the time the lab shows for the test.

4. A hospital's plan

  • Opens as soon as the payment is confirmed, for the period paid, with every part of the platform on the plan: the OPD, the assistant, patient records, video visits and the hospital's own website.
  • Delivered online at hospita.si and in the Hospita app; nothing is installed or sent by post.

5. If a service is not delivered

If a visit or a test cannot be given for a reason on the hospital's or the lab's side, everything you paid comes back, as Cancellation and refunds says. If a plan does not open after payment, write to Hospita and it is put right or refunded:
